Relief

Okay, after lots of emails and phone calls, I fixed the tax stuff on my own. I realized that when I need help, you should not assume that people would help. So, it's imperative to be independent enough to face the challenges yourself. And, I did it. It had been so stressful lately since Steve has been super busy at work, I did not want to bother him. Well, I can sleep soundly tonight. Anyway, do choose things in your life wisely or it'll exhaust your time and engery endlessly.
Glad to see the fed's further rate cut, yeah! Time to refiance the mortgage- get a lower interest rate and switch to a shorter term. Our current goal is to pay off our house as soon as we can.
Soon, we will take off to Hong Kong for our vacation. Everything is set. The rate of the hotel rooms there varies everyday. Fortunately, we got one at a good price. Taking the time to do researches and having the patience will reward you most of the time. Planning is key. I truly believe: FAILURE TO PLAN IS A PLAN TO FAIL.

I was stupid.

Working at the spa was one of my most stupid decisions in my life. Working for crooks/dumbasses, you name it. Those assholes messed up my life and ate my soul. Yes, I was a fool. I worked at the wrong places. I know, it IS over. I'm just still having the resentment that I can't sleep well sometimes. At least, they are going to mess up my tax again since I was there for a few months last year. Jesus, please bring them all to hell when the world ends.

Sick again

.....yes, again! I hate my runny nose. I've already doing exercises. Why do I get sick?? I GUESS I might have caught the germs from shaking hands with people at the dealership last week!! Steve said I sound crazy. Hey, I don't think so. Everyone's hands are full of germs very often by touching other objects- door handles, etc. Otherwise, it wouldn't be so important to wash hands often or apply hand sanitizer. I should keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in my purse from now on.
I am SO happy that Nadine will come over for lunch on Tuesday. She worked with me in the bakery in the past. Those old days - tough but fun, with her, Joyce, Elisa, Michael the manager, Doug. Michael the temporary worker from Ethiopia was something, he sold one of the for-display-only cakes, nice-looking outside but stale inside cake to customer. It was a white chocolate mousse cake. Since he didn't check the date, the cake was returned...full of greenish molds inside!! GROSS!!!!!
And then, Cindy the manager was moody and scary- you never knew if she was in a good mood until you arrived work. STRESSFUL. My personal experience: Less stressful working for male bosses.
Anyway, it's all history. :)

Updates...

What's keeping me busy lately? Let's see:
Dance dance revolution - xbox dancing game, dance on the mat by following instruction on TV. Fun, great work-out. Blow-flex- stimulated rowing boats!! Want to work on my biceps. Working out every other day lately. Then, 1.5-2 hours practicing piano each day: trying to play the music from a popular game named Tetris. I'm practicing the type-C music even though type-A is the most popular one and indeed I can play type-A already. I want to attend regular music class in a community college. I've missed the winter quarter since I will be back to HK soon. Indeed, other than the piano, I have fun with my keyboard too. So, I am keeping the house very loud!! Sometimes, it's even shaky. I hope it's not why the house next door can't sell. Well, I'm just joking!! Anyway, it's been on the market since Septebmer last year. I wouldn't know how to pay 2 mortgages at the same time if I were the owner. The market is so slow now. Nasdaq, Dows and Standard and Poors 500 are down almost every day. ~_~
Since Seahawks was snowed out, I won't sit in front of TV every weekends... not wanting to watch more Giants and Packers... Rather wash my cars when it's nice outside.

Go Seahawks!!

SOOOOOOO excited about the game yesterday! I was watching the whole game. YEAH! Beat the Redskin, 35-14, in playoffs. ^___^ Marcus Trufant was exceptional. I watched his entire 78-yard interception return for a touchdown! Incredible!! Last year, I was sooo upset when the hawks was beaten by the Bears. I want to see Seahawks in the superbowl!!!!!! So do you, right? Hope that they'll bring the ball back with victory from GreenBay, WI next week. Hehe, I am becoming more 'American' gradually - it's fun to watch football games. :-) I wonder if Liz and Tim were at the Quest field yesterday as Liz's brother rents a private suite at Quest field for the whole year and got tickets for every game. It was a blast being invited to go to a college football game months ago and also to the Mariner's game in Safeco field a few times. Well, that's a definite upside of not working now - I can spend more time with my family and do something fun.

Snowing again

Rain and snow mix outside. Flurries!! But, I prefer Oreo McFlurries.. hehehe

Friends

[Pic: my OT friends.]

We've already got the tickets for going to Hong Kong a while ago. However, I didn't know some days fall on Easter Holiday over there until Titania told me last night. Then, my parents told me that the hotel room was outrageously expensive; a figure that we would never ever expect. I was worrying we might not be able to find any place close to my parents. Then, I asked Raymond for help. Time flies, I knew him for more than 10 years. We studied Information System together the first year in university. He's a social butterfly. I'm thankful that I know him. He helped me search for places and he asked his friends too. Then, I got a few choices and so I could sleep well last night. We should visit him in Vancouver later this year.
I am on and off sick these days. But I don't like to go to the doctor's office if I just need to ask a few questions. Luckily, a good friend of mine is a doctor. She talks to me often. I knew her in highschool and she IS a genius in my eye - excelled in everything from Science, Chinese & English Literature to Art, Home Economics, Philosophy, etc. She's a great piano player too. Undoubtedly, she could study anything she wanted in college and she chose medicine. Good for her. I liked those days we went go eat thai buffet after the exam. We both ate SO much and could barely walk around in the mall. Sweet memory. I can't wait to see her!! And meet her new born girl, Eve.
Looking back into my old days. I was always blessed with good friends surrouding me and helped me forget unhappiness at home. They are my angels in my life. I am proud of myself being able to keep in touch with them for many years. The first few years coming to the States was so hard for me since I had no friends. I survived. Internet was a great invention - I talked to my friends days and nights on icq.

Kiki, please wait for me, we can go 'drink drink, eat eat' , shop and...maybe sing karaoke.

Yan Yan, I'll massage your neck and shoulders soon! Thanks SO much for the 'super mario brothers' Nintendo DS stylus. I love it. I used it already, much easier to grip while playing games.

Dear all of my friends, I don't know how many of you are reading this blog entry but I am really excited to meet you again!
I wish I could meet my friends here or there through another dimension anytime. Is a Time-machine available yet? Yes, but only in my dreams. Sad.

Eastside day spas raided in prostitution sting
By HECTOR CASTROP-I REPORTER

Redmond police arrested five women and one man at two day spas Thursday during raids prompted by a citizen's complaint.

The arrests were made at the Serenity Acupressure and Wellness Center in Redmond and at the Chi Energy Spa in Bellevue, Redmond police reported.

The two spas, owned by a California couple, purport to offer massage, but only five women were licensed for it. Police took $3,000 in cash and business records that linked the two spas.
A 43-year-old man was arrested at one of the spas for patronizing a prostitute. Five women were arrested for investigation of promoting prostitution.
Redmond police credited the citizen's tip for setting off the investigation, and meticulous detective work for allowing the two raids to occur simultaneously.

Gym at home

Yay! Blowflex has been set up and I can do different exercises to strengthen my arms!! I'll be miss Popeye soon. However, it hurts my wrists a little bit. -_- Playing the piano and the keyboard hurts.
