Okay, today I watched the DVD 'how to teach your baby math' myself. Okay, I am skeptical. But I am also amazed every day whenever Alana demonstrates her ability to learn as a baby. She can understand both Chinese and English!! It wouldn't hurt if we give this math program a try. I have faith in her - she will learn whatever facts we show her. I do not want to waste her learning potential in her first six years of life, honestly. I am so glad that I bought the math dots flash card and the book through local craigslist. I can't wait to show her the cards!
I really want to attend the course for parents in PA in March. But I am quite sure we can't make it since I'm still a nursing mom, how can I leave her for 5 whole days??
The course will be available in June and October too...but I'm not sure. I wish there were classes in WA!
Recent nights I've been reading a blog about a parent religiously following Glenn Doman's program. The blog is very interesting. I am very eager to learn how to teach Alana at home.
